hullo everybody. :)
so here's what's been happening:
My Birthday
Fiona came over to INTI, so decided to go out to KL. Took the cab all the way to 1U and we went.....Karaoke-ing! Yhay...spent about 4 hours plus singing all-time favourites during which JiaMin broke a glass, waiter came into the room while we were jumping around on the sofas, etc. oh we did a few other crazy stuff too cause we thought they couldnt look in...but, erm, they could, actually. *giggles*. And that was 80bucks spent.
walked around for abit, not really hungry yet....then we went to Seoul Garden for korean buffet!!! the thing is, it was already 9pm, and they supposedly closed at 10.30pm!! hahaahah so we ran around the buffet table like mad,ravenous and famished scavangers taking whatever our arms could carry...and ate as fast as we could!! hahaha....so fun to have eating kaki's...oh and since i was the birthday girl, they give me 50% off. hahaha...but bill still came to 145 bucks..*oops*
we stayed over at Fiona's house..watched the final of american idol, saw Mulan 2, and drank at least a gallon of green tea.hahaha..valerie and i gave up at about 4am...Fiona and JiaMin fast-forwarded through 10CD's of Korean Drama till about 6.30am...
By 6.45 Fiona's mom came to wake me up..hahaha..i was so stunned i jumped right out of bed. literally. she had to catch me, and force me back into bed, and sternly told me to take my time to get up..i think she was trying not to laugh. hehe.
at 7.30 we went for breakfast at some kopitiam nearby, we were all too sleepy to eat...or at least they were. hahaha...it's so cute how Fiona's parents call me "An An" also. it's crazy how the nickname caught on. left for inti after that in time for Borges' class.
It's really one of the most memorable birthdays i've had. love them girls so so so much.
Choir
i finally decided to quit the INTI choir. hahaha...it's so pointless singing the college song for 4 hours a week again and again. it's not even a fun song to sing. Bleh.
CF
I finally got active in CF again. Worship lead for CG a couple of weeks ago. Backup singing for service tonight. quite excited, though i dunno how to sing all the songs. good thing im not pianist.
Academics
Well i did horribly for my accounts test. ONLY 64% :(. i got zero for two essays and lost 15 marks in the second section. on a brighter note, i scored 91% for Bio Test and 82% for Anthro and full marks for Econs quiz. still. i dun wanna do badly for ACC.
Upcoming
TOEFL is on the 22nd of June. Hopefully im not overconfident. have yet to register for SATs, though i've already collected my preparation material.
Going to the IntiBall!! wanna buy a new dress, but gt no money. JiaMin refuses to go with me. im sitting at a table with fellow JPAians, but me and Val are the only girls, and i dont really talk to the guys...hopefully i'll meet some other ppl there. have to go this time round, coz i wont be around for next year's.
