oh wow. Week 1 of college finally over. i've finally decided to shift sections for Econs class. so now, no more friday 4-6pm. *whee~* but it's a different Econs lecturer, and it seems that he's a better lecturer, though i think 'better' is very subjective. To most, better means:

• more experience
• speaks in an un-boring way
• goes beyond 'conventional'
• puts a lil of the lecturer's element/personality in the way of conducting class - like Prof Borges haha.

but to me, since im taking Econs as an 'easy' subject (since i have to deal with Anthropol. and Biology), 'better' for Econs also includes:

• qualified
• gives challenging questions but PREDICTABLE sorts
• no-trouble-for-me-and-no-trouble-for-you kind
• not-so-high-expectations
• very flexible
• no space for a "ME-is-important" and "screw-ur-other-lecturers-" kind

well. it seems that this lecturer teaches his class what he thinks they SHOULD know, has very disorganized notes (OH NO) uses his own slides, 'textbook is just a reference', and his tests are gonna be HARD. oh and his notes contains a number of stuff that arent in the syllabus either. oh and he doesnt teach in order, as in he skips from chapter to chapter here and there. Hmm.

but no friday 4-6pm class  (in case u dont know, i havent had ANY crazy friday schedule for 3 semesters. 2 outta 3 of past semesters - including when i was at Taylor's - saw me through with NO FRIDAY class. hrpmh.)

on a different note. FIONA CAME BACK ON WEDNESDAY!!!! i was very very happy to see her. oh you dont understand. for the past two semesters i go to class every day with her. and she visits my room every night.

so we had dinner together...talked alot of nonsense...watched a happy-ever-after modern fairytale...ate sommore...it was as if she never left.

but she's gone again now. =(. and i'l have to deal with it.

just to refresh ur memory: she's not coming back cause she got into Northwestern. and she's flying off soon.

oh we had more people join our Anthro class today. people from last year's Politics class was there...our soc sci gang. now i dunno if i should still be lawyer. HMM. do you know. i've been in Borges' class 3 sems running. oh right. i told you that already. in fact, im planning to take EVERY SINGLE class he teaches. i only wished that he thought more subs. HEE. to think that alot of ppl either hate him or are terrified of him.
